Carole Dozier, Ph.D.

Carole Dozier, Ph.D. has practiced as a mental health professional for over 25 years. She has functioned as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist since 1988. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and completed an APA approved internship at California State University, Northridge. She received her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Professional School of Psychological Studies, San Diego.

Dr. Dozier worked as the Clinical Director of Psychological Services for Psychological Assessment Specialists, Inc. where she supervised clinical staff, performed psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations, and served as an expert witness on forensic cases.

In 1993, Dr. Dozier became the Area Manager for Apogee Health Services, Inc. managing psychiatric services in nursing homes in 5 Western states. During this time, she trained and supervised multidisciplinary mental health professionals in diagnostic evaluation and psychotherapeutic treatment modalities. This company became a national provider of psychological services to seniors.

Dr. Dozier became the Director of Psychiatric Services and Clinical Manager of the Behavioral Health Center at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in 1997. Dr. Dozier manages both operations and the provision of clinical services for adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Dr. Dozier also maintains an adult psychotherapy private practice on a part-time basis in Rancho Mirage, California.

Dr. Dozier is a member of the California Psychological Association and has served as a Licensing Examiner for the Board of Psychology.
